L-com Cable Assembly LCCA30005 is an N male to SMA male 5 feet cable using 402SS Series coax that ships same-day. L-com's flexible RF cable assemblies are ideal for applications where tight bends and flexure are required. This L-com N to SMA cable assembly has a male to male gender configuration with 50 ohm flexible 402SS Series coax and operates to 18 GHz. Highly durable stainless-steel connectors and heavy-duty booting extend the life of this versatile flexible cable assembly. The double shield includes a silver plated copper braid over a silver plated copper spiral strip providing excellent shielding effectiveness greater than 110 dB. Custom versions of this cable assembly along with the rest of L-com's RF cable assemblies can be built and shipped same day. Other available RF cable assembly value added services include connector orientation or clocking, heat shrink booting and custom labeling. These L-com RF Coaxial Adapters are used to interface between SMA to UMCX with coaxial connections. The LCAD30005 is a straight adapter with a male to jack configuration. This Coaxial Adapter, SMA Male / UMCX Jack is made from tri-metal and has a gold finish. An SMA interface design is defined by Mil-STD-348A and has many popular features including a threaded coupling method with a robust center contact and outer conductor interface. SMA's generally work up to 18GHz and are a cost effective way of insuring a highly dependable RF Coaxial connection. A UMCX adapter's interface is compatible with the popular u.fl design from Hirose. The UMCX has a simple snap on connection and its small size is popular in applications that require a small foot print.
